풀맨입니다. 🌿
 
요즘 '델리시오사 풀민트'라는
몬스테라에 푹 빠져있었는데
어디를 찾아도
파는곳을 찾을수 없었습니다 ㅠㅠ
 
대표사진은 제가
이상적으로 생각하는
deliciosa fullmint 입니다.
 
내가 생각하는 풀민트 조건.
 
1. 잎이 완전히 녹색으로 돌아가지 않는다.
(화이트 몬스터와 차별)
2.생육조건에 따라 녹이 많이 차더라도
생육 환경을 바꾸면 다시 흰지분이 늘어난다.
 
위 두가지가 제가생각하는 델리시오사 풀민트라
할수있는 조건입니다.
 
그러다가 우연한 기회로
무늬 그레이드가 떨어지는
개체 하나를
구할 수 있었습니다.
 

예전 같이 분양되었던 개체중에
아주 정석적으로 크고있는
델리시오사 풀민트를 발견해서
 
현재 무늬 그레이드가 떨어지더라도
같은 개체이기 때문에
 
생장 환경에따라
추후 무늬가
좋아질수 있겠다 싶어
제가 데려오게 되었습니다.
 
(딱 하나 남은 개체였기때문에
아마 또 구하기는 쉽지않을듯 합니다.
또한
대부분 tc 개체이기때문에
삽목 커팅개체가 아닌이상
판매자에 따라 또는 판매자가 같아도
개체에따라 무늬 발현이 상이하므로
사실상 tc로 동일한 개체는 구할수 없다고 보는게 맞습니다.
저 또한 tc개체이기때문에
추후 발현은
생장 조건 맞춰주고
기도하는 수밖에 없답니다 😆 )
 

제대로된 델리시오사 풀민트를 구하기 어려웠던게
잎 몇장 만으로는
몬스테라 화이트몬스터와
구분이 잘 안되기 때문인 이유도 있었습니다.
 
제가 구매한것도
찐 델리시오사 풀민트인지는 모르겠지만
일단 한번 공들여 키워볼까합니다.
(무늬 개체 특성상
같은 모주라도
무늬 발현이 다를수도 있기때문에
찐 풀민트인지 아닌지는 키워보기 전까지는
아무도 모릅니다)

녹이 점점 많이차서 거의 완전 녹으로 차면
몬스테라 화이트몬스터
민트타입을 계속 유지하면 델리시오사 풀민트 !
 
제가 한번 확인해보겠습니다 😁
 
요즘 분양되는
희귀 몬스테라를 보면서
그렇게 많이 분양되고 있는데
왜이렇게 넷상에는 정보가 없는지 모르겠네요 :)

Hello there! 🍀 I’m Pullman, and I absolutely love growing plants indoors. 🌿
Lately, I’ve been completely obsessed with a specific Monstera called 'Deliciosa Fullmint.' However, no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find a single place selling one. ㅠㅠ
The cover photo shows my ideal version of a Deliciosa Fullmint.
Here are the criteria I think a true 'Fullmint' should meet:

1. The leaves never fully revert back to solid green.
2. Even if the leaves get more green due to certain growing conditions, changing the environment back should make the white/mint variegated areas increase again.

To me, a Monstera that checks these two boxes is what can truly be called a Deliciosa Fullmint.
Then, by a stroke of pure luck, I managed to get my hands on a single specimen—even though its variegation grade is currently a bit on the lower side.
I happened to see another plant from the exact same batch that was growing beautifully into a textbook definition of a Deliciosa Fullmint. Since mine came from the same batch, I realized that even if the variegation looks a bit lacking right now, the right growing environment could bring out that high-quality variegation later on. That’s why I decided to bring it home.
(It was the very last one available, so it probably won't be easy to find another one anytime soon. Also, since most of these are tissue-cultured (TC) plants—unless you're getting a cutting from a mother plant—the variegation can vary drastically depending on the seller, or even among plants from the exact same seller. Honestly, it's safe to say you can't find another TC plant that's identical to this one. Since mine is also a TC baby, all I can do now is optimize its growing conditions and... pray for the best! 😆)
One of the reasons it was so hard to find a genuine Deliciosa Fullmint in the first place is that it’s incredibly difficult to tell them apart from a Monstera 'White Monster' based on just a few leaves.
To be honest, I'm not 100% sure if the one I bought is a "certified genuine" Deliciosa Fullmint yet, but I'm going to put all my effort into growing it well. (Due to the unpredictable nature of variegated plants, even cuttings from the same mother plant can turn out completely different. No one really knows if it's a true Fullmint until it grows out!)
If the green keeps taking over until it's almost fully solid green, it's a Monstera White Monster. But if it consistently maintains that minty look, it's a Deliciosa Fullmint!
I'm going to test this out and see for myself! 😁
Looking at all these rare Monsteras being sold so widely these days, I honestly wonder why there is so little information about them on the internet. :)
